Michelle C., M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist
Michelle is a full-time speech-language pathologist at All Bright Therapies, providing both in-home Early Intervention services and clinic-based services at our Skokie location. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University and her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University.
Michelle has experience supporting neurodivergent children across home, school, clinic, and teletherapy settings. During her time in graduate school, she also co-piloted Northwestern University’s first All Brains social group, supporting neurodivergent tweens and teens in building social connection and communication in an affirming group environment. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming, child-led therapy that builds on each child’s strengths while fostering meaningful, functional communication. She believes that every child communicates in their own way and partners closely with families to provide individualized therapy that supports participation in everyday life.
Her clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early language development, expressive and receptive language disorders, gestalt language processing, autism, and social-pragmatic language development.
As a lifelong Chicago resident, Michelle enjoys going for walks, taking yoga classes, discovering new restaurants, binge-watching a good TV show, and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
