Liz Gretz, Speech Therapist
Education: I completed my undergraduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University in 2007. I then completed my Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa in 2010.
Areas of Interest: Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Expressive and Receptive Language Delays/Disorders, Articulation and Phonology, Pragmatic Language, Autism, Literacy Development and Early Language Development.
Prior Experience: After graduating with my Masters degree I moved to Austin, TX where I worked in the public schools as well as a private pediatric rehab clinic. Once I moved to Chicago I worked at a private therapeutic preschool where I developed a curriculum for a therapeutic Kindergarten classroom. Additionally I developed and implemented therapeutic interventions in the classroom setting as well as the individual setting for children ranging in ages from 18 months to 10 years of age. I’m very excited to be working at All Bright Therapies and working closely with families to support their child’s speech and language goals.
Who I am: I have lived in Chicago for the past 4+ years and have enjoyed learning and experiencing all the city has to offer. I’m originally from Kansas City and enjoy good barbeque and Royals baseball! I have 10 nieces and nephews and love spending my time watching them grow and learn. I love cooking, reading and spending time with my family.
