Green Spaces Help Brain Development

Summer in Chicago is a great time to take advantage of the nice weather and spend extra time outside. A recent study finds that this time is also great for a child’s brain development. The study followed a group of 10 year olds for a year and found that those exposed to green spaces what significant gains in their working memory and attentiveness. A little more time outside this summer may be just what your child needs.
