Caitlin Bartley-Fauntleroy, Head Speech Therapist

Education: Butler University B.A. in Communication Disorders; Purdue University M.S. in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences

Areas of Interest: Early Language Development, Phonology, Autism, Therapeutic Play Skills, and Social Language Group Therapy. I have attended a training that focuses on children on the Autism Spectrum to improve their social skills by following their lead and building relationships with others. I have also attended trainings with focuses on: Play Skills, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Treatment Strategies for teaching early speech-language development, and Family Training for expressive language skills.

Prior Experience: I joined the All Bright Therapies team in 2011, fulfilling my passion for working with children and helping them meet their goals and reach their potential. If you observed my sessions you would see activities that are play-based and focused upon a family-centered approach. I believe that treatment plans should be practical and family friendly; this is how we see the most progress. I have enjoyed supervising graduate students in their process of completing their master’s degrees. I am also trained in the SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding.

Who I Am: I live in Chicago with my husband. This year we discovered indoor rock climbing and have enjoyed this new hobby together. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading a good book, farmers markets, exercising, and cooking new and healthy recipes.
